News 7 Dec 2004 - Paul McGillion is promoted to regular cast member for season 2 of Stargate Atlantis, due to begin filming in February 2005! 2 Dec 2006 - Sadly, Dr Carson Beckett is to be written out of Stargate Atlantis leaving in the later half of season 3.
